• Incumbent files information, provide information of records upon request and correct material on files and other special
requirements.
• Incumbent answers incoming Vital Records Customer Service calls
• Incumbent received request, analyzes information and search records upon request.
• Incumbent must make clerical decisions regarding appropriate procedures within Vital Records.
• Verify and locate birth certificates electronically, through manual indexing systems, micro-film, image-by-image, for non-indexed
records by searching through index, electronically and paper.
• Incumbent inputs data entry of information related to Vital Records.
• Incumbent logs and processes information related to Vital Records.
• Incumbent uses the new Genesis Birth Certificate Program within Vital Records.
• Incumbent prepares request from mail.
• Incumbent will have an increase in Window Hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
