Job Description : Outreach Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Energy Efficiency Outreach Coordinator to join our growing team in New Jersey. As a Energy Efficiency Program Outreach Coordinator, you must have a demonstrated interest in energy efficiency and have the right mix of interpersonal skills, presentation skills, sales ability, technical ability, and program expertise to educate and inspire customers and vendors to engage with multiple Utility Energy Efficiency programs. Specific responsibilities will include: becoming well-versed in the Utility Programs, fielding phone calls and responding to emails from vendors and customer inquiries regarding applications or participation in the incentive programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to travel is a must.
• Think big-picture and support the goal to influence business customers to be energy efficient, and influence contractors to promote energy efficiency
• Conduct training and educational efforts with vendors who sell, design, install, and market energy efficient technologies
• Communicate effectively with partners and clients regarding program requirements and benefits. Earn and maintain customer, vendor, and client trust and continually build relationships
• Deliver high quality customer service
• Communicate effectively with other team members in servicing customers and vendors
• Conduct site visits and set up and sign up retailors.
• Complete assignments and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Other duties as directed.

Requirements

Excellent written communication and superb interpersonal skills required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple time-dependent tasks.
• Well developed and professional email and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word is required
• Ability to learn and operate company proprietary computer software is required.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through in a fast pace environment.
• Must be able to lift, push and or pull 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license, insurance, and a personal vehicle to visit customer sites.
