About the Job:
Consult and counsel with disabled program participant who own and operate concession businesses
There will be some light travel involved. only about 1 or 2 days per month and sometimes not at all. They would only travel to surrounding offices within Indiana. The person will be eligible to submit expenses for any travel under the state expense guidelines.
This position works directly for the Business Enterprise Program, which creates new Vending and Food Service business enterprises for eligible blind individuals. The incumbent will be responsible for the quarterly evaluation of existing enterprises, asset management of State-owned equipment, guidance and counseling on business management and customer service skills, and being a responsible steward of State services.
preferred experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or 4 years of related work experience in Business Administration, Finance, Profit & Loss.

Qualifications:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Knowledge of Sanitation and Food Handling Guidelines
o Knowledge of working with individuals that are visually impaired
• Working knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and accounting concepts
• Ability to problem solve in order to provide an effective solution in a timely manner.
• Must have organizational skills in planning and coordinating a variety of projects simultaneously
