Overview:
• Able to interpret, record, & develop tracking methods in adherence with DEP systems for logistic equipment and inventory records
• Responsible for equipment training tracking, certifications, and licensing for personnel assigned in the DEP Logistics Section
• Uses Microsoft Excel, as well as inventory control and asset tracking system to inventory and manage all DEP equipment and resources
• Responsible for generating inventory reports as needed
• Responsible for ensuring procurement budgets are followed and tracked accordingly for Logistics
• Assists in the facilitation of delivery, setup, and return of offsite equipment and supplies for DEP
• Acts as a procurement representative with a working knowledge of Agency, State and Federal
• procurement policies
• Familiar with Standard Operating Procedures and User Guides for DEP Logistics Division
• May be tasked to duties non-specific to their daily job in support of the agencies response
Job Requirements:
• Establishes records keeping program principles and practices related to the maintenance of accurate and systematic records
• Extensive communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure with multiple agencies & local partners. Thorough knowledge and ability to research, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and procedures for all certification and licensing criteria
• Extensive and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Must be able to identify problems and/or solutions and make recommendations in a professional manner
• Requires some physical effort including lifting 10-40 pounds, climbing ladders, and working outside.
• General knowledge of business process and practices (preferably in respect to state and federal procedures)
• General knowledge of Finance policies and regulations
• Ability to work independently and with little direct supervision
• Must be able to prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing program requirements, policies and timelines for completion of work
Requirements:
• Work will consist of 50% time being spent sitting at desk using a computer and looking at multiple monitors in a warehouse, office or in the field.
